Weekend Round Up

Well, I have been a busy busy girl! I can't remember Thursday or Friday so I can't recap it. II sucked at blogging. I was on a roll though. Getting back to that today.

Today's Goal of the Day was to throw away clothes that I am NOT going to wear anymore.It was accomplished. I did that right when I got home from work. I have a HUGE stack of clothes waiting to go to the big brother, big sisters program :) I love donating, it makes me feel so great :)

Saturday morning I was up at 8, but cuddled in bed with my Love and pups. It was so nice. We finally got out of bed at 9. Chad(the boyfriend) had a dentist appointment at 10:00 so I hit up the gym. I did 25 minutes on the eliptical and 20 minutes on the treadmill. I have officially purchased a 24 hour fitness membership and so far it is great. I got to the gym at 10:03 and left at about 11:.00. I hit up the grocery store for a couple of items for lunch. Once I got home, I ate a 1 egg and 2 egg white with spinach and tomato scramble, 1 piece of honey whole wheat toast and 2 clementines. Then, I made blueberry chocolate chip muffins. Chaddy LOVED them. I showered and got all dolled up and then sat around for the rest of the day. It was a waste of makeup, but I felt good about myself haha.

Today, I woke up and went to the gym at 10:00 yet again. Once home I repeated yesterday's brunch only with a blueberry muffin in place of the toast. Then, I worked 12-6. The rest of today invovled cleaning out the dresser and closet, laundry, cleaning the kitchen, eating roast(Lovey makes the BEST roast!) and french beans, now I am blogging and then hitting bed. Weekends, What?

First things first, Annie is hosting a wonderful giveaway! Her blog is inspiring and amazing, so go check her out!

Zero...the number of times I worked out!
Two...the number of decent healthy meals I had!
Half...the number of pints of beer I had at a concert!

This weekend, it wasn't great diet/exercise wise. I discovered I am a week ahead on my training schedule for the half and instead of using it as an advantage to train a little more, I decided taking all weekend off from exercise would do the trick! Now, I did do plenty of things for the remodel. Think painting, sanding cabinets, lifting and moving boxes. So, I did get some calorie burning going.

We went and saw Dessa, Grieves, and P.O.S last night! They are amazing musicians and you really should check them out! The show was supposed to start at 9:00, but like every other time, it didn't start until 10! The show ended at around 1 or so! Today, I am TIRED!! Got a nice big coffee(with a touch of creamer). Seeing them(this was the first time I saw Dessa and she was AMAZING!) was so worth the exhausting day I am sure to have.

Breakfast: Cinnamon Raisin english muffin with Peanut Butter
AM Snack Yogurt with Cinnamon Raisin granola
Lunch: Cup of Corn Chowder and a 6'' turkey sub
Afternoon Snack: Honey crisp apple
Dinner: TBD

Exercise planned for today: 3.5 mile run and Level 2 of the 30 Day Shred(my favorite level so far!).

Goals for this week:
1. Drink 128 oz of water a day.
2. Eat between 1400 and 1600 calories.
3. Track calories.
4. Stick to training plan!

Goal for February:
Be at 125 by February 28! Only weighing once a month!

I Should Have Gotten Water....

Instead, I got a Long Island Iced Tea. It was free poured, which in Utah is ILLEGAL. So, I got a lot more liquor than the 1.5 ounce that is legal.

Friday night, Loves and I took a little nap, chilled at home, and went and got take out from "Mimi's Cafe". I love love love Mimi's. I had salmon and veggies, but I also got the corn chowder which lasted Friday and Saturday. Not too horrible of a choice right? That was until I ate the bread pudding. However, i'm not going to totally beat myself up, because I hadn't had much to eat all day.

Saturday, I started off my day with a 2 mile run at the high school track. I love running on the track! I never thought i'd like running or be able to do it for long. I used to get tired walking up the stairs. Now, I can run 2 whole miles non stop at a good pace. We just hung around the house with our pups for the rest of the day!

Yesterday my legs were a little sore, but I went on a run anyways. Boy, that was an awesome decision. It's so nice to exercise. I feel so much better about my body when I do! Last night we went and saw the "Yeah Yeah Yeahs" in concert and that's where the long island comes in. Too many calories, I know. I was feeling the pain this morning.

You bet your ass next time i'll listen to my inner voice and just order water!!
